A Year in Photos

Photography, fiction, and personal essays form my three primary creative outlets. For this blog's first 18 months, I used it primarily for photography. As I've returned to creative writing, I'll use this blog for fiction, too. Sometimes, when reality needs to be discussed more than truth, I write personal essays.

This blog will continue to showcase as many above-average photos as I can muster. Hopefully my written work will be as good or better than the visual. Whichever drew you here -- photographs or fiction, I hope you enjoy both.

A Year in Photos -- Week Thirty-seven

This week has some exciting photos to share. Scanography, birds, and an urban lake are some of the many images we have lined up this week. Also, on my shelf right now I have some cameras lined up to use in the next few weeks. They include my Pentax 6X7 loaded with Adox 25 ISO film, Nikon F3 with Bluefire Police (80 ISO), Pentax KX with Efke 25 ISO, and Canon AE-1 with a test roll of some (in all probability) VERY old Ektachrome 100 ISO. I'm not optimistic about the Ektachrome, but we'll see what I can get. So, without delay, let's take a look at what's coming.
