A Year in Photos

Photography, fiction, and personal essays form my three primary creative outlets. For this blog's first 18 months, I used it primarily for photography. As I've returned to creative writing, I'll use this blog for fiction, too. Sometimes, when reality needs to be discussed more than truth, I write personal essays.

This blog will continue to showcase as many above-average photos as I can muster. Hopefully my written work will be as good or better than the visual. Whichever drew you here -- photographs or fiction, I hope you enjoy both.

300th Post

For my 300th post, I decided to post photos from my first SLR -- my Pentax K1000. Unfortunately, I only have about three photos from my Mount Diablo trip that turned out well. So this will be a short 300th post. I'll make up for it tomorrow with a dozen photos of Fort Funston.

A tree.

Looking out toward Brentwood and Livermore.

Flowers. There are some bugs in there somewhere, too.

So, three photos for the 300th post. It only took 18 months to get here, so maybe in another 18 months we'll be able to celebrate the 600th post with six photos.
