A Year in Photos

Photography, fiction, and personal essays form my three primary creative outlets. For this blog's first 18 months, I used it primarily for photography. As I've returned to creative writing, I'll use this blog for fiction, too. Sometimes, when reality needs to be discussed more than truth, I write personal essays.

This blog will continue to showcase as many above-average photos as I can muster. Hopefully my written work will be as good or better than the visual. Whichever drew you here -- photographs or fiction, I hope you enjoy both.

Finally, Some Color

Lest you worry that this whole week would be dedicated to statues of religious figures, this post will dissuade you from that notion. We'll return to statues of religious figures tomorrow, an inadvertent theme this week.

On April 3rd I took my SRT 102 out with the Tamron 28-70 and a roll of Fuji Velvia 50. I got it back from the processing lab on Saturday, and here are some results.

"I Gots Teeth."

"View the Back of the Mirror"

"Statues are People, too."

"Left-Right, Blue-Green"

"What a Socking Photo."

"Still Proving I can Balance it the Longest"
